Prairie View Elementary PTO in Eden Prairie, MN needed a website to streamline many of its activities. They did not have a website, but maintained a Facebook page and used flyers as its main form of communication with parents. Schmitt Creative created the website using WordPress and worked with eCity Transactions to develop transactional pages. The website allowed the PTO to communicate to parents about events and meetings as well as collect payments and donations online. An advertising program was setup to sell space on the site’s sidebar. An eBlast went out to parents to announce the launch. Immediately, visitorship spiked and parents began purchasing tickets to events and donating silent auction items online.
